Last year, I had the pleasure of leading a series of weekly drop-in workshops at The Hannah Peschar Sculpture Garden, where I guided participants in creating collaged bird artworks inspired by the dynamic style of Mark Herald. Set within the stunning natural surroundings of the garden, these sessions encouraged creativity and a deeper connection to the local birdlife. Using a mix of textures, colours, and layered elements, attendees of all ages explored the joy of collage, crafting unique pieces that celebrated both nature and artistic expression. It was a wonderful experience to share this creative process with others and see how each person brought their own interpretation to the theme.
